The video is sorta kinda done, but the rendering is taking forever so check out the video tomorrow night-ish.
I’m 60% through with the video-editing. I am also Madoka-deprived.
I’ve been working on the video-editing bit by bit each day, and it’s going pretty well. I’m hoping to release it this coming Saturday (most likely at night). I’ll be sure to get you a link as soon as the video gets uploaded. :)
I’m going to edit the video myself. I should be done in a week or so. I’m making great progress right now, so yeah. That last video I posted will be the last one and then I’ll delete all the test videos once I’m through with the real deal.
It was a little sad to hear that Madoka was canceled, but oh well, what can you do? I’ve been thinking about it, and I really wanna dub that last fight scene in Episode 3 (you know, that one). Here’s hoping they release an OST. The music was gorgeous.
P4 - Part IV
A few days ago I got Adobe After Effects CS4, and decided to try out “animating” one of the panels in Part 4 as a test. The interface is ridiculous looking, but like everything else, you start getting the hang of something the more you work with it. And yes, I think I am getting the hang of some of the basics. I don’t plan on using it to create the Part 4 video (that is for Sony Vegas to handle), but who knows? Maybe I’ll have mastered what I needed to master when I get to the MGS comics.
I feel like I haven’t done any actual anime fan-dubbing in a while. I have FMA: Brotherhood and a Sailor Moon S clip in the works, but those are two dubs that probably won’t see the light of day until summer time. Re-creating the sound effects for scenes in both shows is just horrifying. I’m also waiting on the R2 release for episodes 108-113 for Sailor Moon S from the SMC group. I’m dubbing a scene from episode 110, but the RAW video that was given to me is ugly and I need a bigger video size. I’m just very picky nowadays with this stuff, sorry.
Ive noticed that I’ve been getting a lot more gigs for games than animation. This was my goal a few years ago when I joined Newgrounds, and since then I’ve been getting more work from there and outside of the community (all thanks to cool friends). I think the one game that I voiced in and am totally excited for is Momentum. Definitely one of the biggest projects I’ve ever voiced for, and I’m a little happy about it. It’s release is set for this summer!
okay that is it time for breakfast
Okay, so I’m sure most of you have realized by now that part four is taking way too long to get here. Let me list out what has been going on:
December 2010 - I sent out the script for part four. Deadline for all lines set some time in January.
January 2011 - Around this time I manage to get almost everyone’s lines, but had to find a new Narrator because the original one had to drop out for completely understandable reasons.
I eventually manage to find a new Narrator towards the end of the month. Deadline for lines set some time in early February.
February 2011 - I don’t get lines from the new Narrator for whatever reason. So I search for a new one.
Towards the end of the month I manage to get a new new Narrator (whose voice I am very pleased with). I give him a deadline some time in early March.
March 2011 - Holy crap I totally got all the lines from the new new Narrator, and I immediately get to mixing.
I believe it was early last week that I managed to finish mixing everything. However, now I have to either a) get a new video editor or b) learn how to do the video editing for this next part if I ever want to see this released in April (at the very least). The original video-editor is too busy with school work so I am currently the only editor of anything on this project.
So, yeah. This is what has been going on. So until I figure out which option (a or b) I won’t know when the damn thing will be completed.
This is my first post you guys…! F-from today on I will share all my bitching with you (gomen i won’t bitch much). S-so please be nice to me… and..uh…you can follow me???
